Hi all I'm new to mums net after being an active daily member for over 5 years :( they ban me for telling a women she was in the wrong for supporting her husband after he was arrested for having indecent images of child pornograpyhy found on his laptop ! I'm disgusted so hope you guys done mind having me :) I'm 27 mother to three daughters in South Wales xx

I used to be on there because of the local stuff. I couldn't stand the talk boards. Thankfully I found MN where text speak is an absolute no no!

I just had a brief look at NM again and I couldn't get through more than half a page because of the sodding txtspk and hunning xx

Ugh. I remember that thread here though. Sounds very similar although I'm not sure I remember the autism mentioned but then I read a LOT of stuff here . Wasn't the H staying with a family member or a friend?

I still go on netmums but tbh its getting really boring on there just now, there are a few people I like to join on threads who are like minded and funny women but if they arent around I might stay 3 minutes before I think bloody hell this is draining the life outta me and rush back to mumsnet for some laughs, shocks and randomness. Its a shame there used to be great threads for random nonsense like on here and I would be crying with laughter but not any more.

I also hate the fact that on the working from home forums anyone who asks about making money at home is immediately swamped by all the mlm people who are just gushing about the amazing opportunity they have to earn pots of money and despite the rules saying NO recruitment nothing is ever done about it. I suspect they get away with it by not mentioning the company by name although 'health and wellbeing company' kinda screams FL or saying they can pm them for 'info' (aka sales speech and soundbites of how fantatstic it is to work from home and do sfa to earn millions)

And dont get me started on txt speak and 'gangsta speak' or whatever the hell it is. FFS we are adults not bloody school kids. Recently there was a thread where the new op spoke perfectly good english on some threads then gobldygook on another and when memebers couldnt understand her she complained that they were in the wrong to suggest it was 'gangsta' crap and in asking her to type so people could understand her! Think the newbies must all be about 17 as she got some support with all the 'speak' and how the other members were all bullying (yawn!) bitches, etc was like being in some crap rap video!

Oh and yep would love it if Kirk was on here, think he would fit right in, love his posts and all the pearl clutching he incites
