Erm, while i agree with you, you really weren't being sympathetic at all. You waded in quite heavily and were very full on. I can see why you got booted off.

Buzzardbird · 05/09/2016 19:22

Fair point lala. 'Hun' has several different meanings.

nickelbabe · 05/09/2016 19:25

You're not upset at being kicked off nethuns are you?! Shock

Fuck it, pull up a pew and grab a cupoa and a biscuit.
Brew Biscuit

Or hubby or bubs or bubba. But we'll teach you all you need know about the art of swearing on MN. Let's start with cuntweasel, cockwomble, wankbadger, jizzpuffin and wankpenguin.

I'm banned from NM too btw

Sarahanne1988x · 05/09/2016 19:26

It was extremely difficult to give "loveable" advice to a women who even needs to ask what to do about her situation! And I then continued to say that I sympathise with her on regards to how it must be so hard to deal with ect

nickelbabe · 05/09/2016 19:27

You might want to change your name to something a bit cooler though WinkGrin

Sarahanne1988x · 05/09/2016 19:28

I was actually just thinking that you all have nutty names ha ha ! Can't think of one I will later

BrianCoxReborn · 05/09/2016 19:29

Just to let you know OP, when you change user names it makes you out to be a separate person, so I can see you've edited your username 3 times in this thread but each entry reads as a different person.

Mumsnet can be adjusted so that as you read threads the OP and all their subsequent messages on a thread, are highlighted. It makes it easier to follow longer threads, when you want to read updates for example. But if you change username part way through the thread, it won't recognise you as the same person. I've no idea why!

It is also subject to abuse by certain types (trolls etc) and is against MN talk guidelines to change names mid thread, to back yourself up. This is known as sock peppering.

It's obvious that isn't what you've done here, just thought I'd add the extra explanation.

Buzzardbird · 05/09/2016 19:30

No 'mummyofjoshua2015', use something clever or funny like 'nethunreject'.

BrianCoxReborn · 05/09/2016 19:31

Puppetting not peppering. I hate my auto correct!

Also, no kisses or 'they' will come for you Grin

EmpressKnowsWhereHerTowelIs · 05/09/2016 19:32

We could help you come up with something if you like.

Buzzardbird · 05/09/2016 19:33

I was a bit confused Brian I thought we had several banned hunners. No sock peppering allowed here. Grin

Sarahanne1988x · 05/09/2016 19:33

I'm new to the site so had to adjust bits Anne is my middle name and Sarah is my first and 1988 is date of birth

Sarahanne1988x · 05/09/2016 19:34

I'm definitely only just one small person Grin

Soubriquet · 05/09/2016 19:34

I'm a 1988er too

user7755 · 05/09/2016 19:35

What does Hun mean in Scotland?

Glad I didn't imagine that other thread!

Sarahanne1988x · 05/09/2016 19:35

Thanks for suggestions but I don't think I should change it again don't wanna be ban from yet another site!
Or sock peppering (no idea what that is yet )

nickelbabe · 05/09/2016 19:37

lala nethun fits perfectly for exact reason you're unsure of it - they are vehement in their malicion

Soubriquet · 05/09/2016 19:38

Sock puppetting is when you change your user name on the same thread to make it as if you were two people

E.g

Person 1: AIBU to xxxxx
Person 2: urm yes
Person 1 under NN to become a 3rd person: of course not!!

nickelbabe · 05/09/2016 19:39

user hun as in attilla the hun I assume.

Buzzardbird · 05/09/2016 19:39

You won't get banned for changing it again, just not mid thread as sock puppeters do this to agree with disagreeable goady posters.

BrianCoxReborn · 05/09/2016 19:39

SazGotBanned Grin

The rule of thumb here is no real names - the Daily Mail trawl through posts looking for their next article, so to remain anonymous is just a bit sensible really.

Or steal a famous astrophysicist's name and they get the blame for what you post Wink

You won't get banned for trying on new names.

nickelbabe · 05/09/2016 19:41

Changing names midthread is only okay if you're doing it to experiment with a new name - and telling people that's what you're doing and why

SideEye · 05/09/2016 19:41

You'll have to get used to communicating with people called Wankstain and Nobber over here I'm afraid.

TheLaundryLady · 05/09/2016 19:41

Welcome Anne it's so much more fun on here Smile
