Anyone got any quick, simple diets that will shift my excess in a couple of weeks. I am going to a reunion with workmates I knew 20 years ago when I was a size 8. Shallow of me I know but I would like to look good. All their kids are close to 20 and my ds is only 2, so they have had loads of time to get in shape.
I don't mind what it is just as long as it's quick and effective, lol! Please don't tell me to starve, I know that one. Mind you giving up the Ben & Gerry's would probably help, a cocaine addiction would be cheaper.

I dont hink 2 weeks is a whole lot of time to lose much. More or less water weight the first week. At least thats what happened to me at first when I started trying to lose weight. Isnt it so frustrating?

Did I say 2 weeks, no I mean more like 3/4. Reckon I can drop 3 dress sizes? Come on Mums!

Enchanted, it's got to be our old friend doctor Atkins.
The jury is out on how healthy this is for you in the long term and it is NOT easy to stick to but you should manage it for a few weeks and you will lose a lot of weight up to 14 or 16 pounds, some of which will be water but you will look slimmer so who cares?

Basically you cut out carbohydrates as much as possible. That means you eat mostly protein and fat. Meat, cheese, fish, eggs, poultry and that's about it.
Eat as much as you want till full but not stuffed.
Add a cupfull of salad vegetables each day but not starchy ones. If you are just doing it for a month, avoid fruit altogether.

Thanks Folks, I have done the Atkins before and I did loose a lot. Gonna give it a go.
