Cursed child- what do we all think?

Just finished Cursed Child. really liked it but totally missed the descriptive text that JK is so good at writing.

I want to know more about Delphi, more about her upbringing, etc.

I found albus a little boring and Harry a douche. Scorpius was sweet though.

The stage production must be amazing considering how much magic is done in the script!

Not read it yet, but dying to! I'm hinting to go and see the play for my birthday in September if we can get tickets!

Found it very jumpy and really missed the detail you get in the books.

Also a lot of the stage directions are nothing like an actual stage direction, which I thought made it really clunky to read, like it's trying and failing to be a book. The stage directions appear to try and convey the detail and drama and emotion JKR is so good at. Thought it was a really disappointing read.

I liked the story but I'd be very interested to see how they manage the constant changes of scene on stage (presumably some sort of projected stage scenery?) as it does go from one to another very quickly and for very short periods of time.

It's amazing to see on stage and there is a lot more than you get from the script. Well worth watching if you can get tickets.
