If so - how successful have you been - and how long have books been on there before they've sold?? Just curious really......

I started to sell on Amazon last summer and have found it a useful source of extra money tbh. We have lots of books I wanted to get rid of. I usually would pass them on or give them to charity, but dh buys a fair amount from Amazon (new and Marketplace), so suggested I give it a whirl.

It's really easy to set up and I've been really pleased. As I said, I started out selling our own stuff, but I have also sold the odd job lot - separately of course - acquired from eBay.

Sometimes I list something and it goes literally the same day, but some of the things I listed 5 months ago are still there; but otoh things do sometimes go after months, and it's easy to keep the listing going.

I hve 200+ books listed atm. Some weeks I sell only 3 or 4; already this week I've sold 16 and made nearly £90 paper profit. That's after Amazon's fees have been paid, but I'd need to deduct about £10 for postage. Each week varies. I'm pretty happy this week !

I put about 6 books on for the first time this week and have sold two already . It is really easy - I've made about $19 profit (out of $30 worth of sales - amazon took $8 fees) and postage has cost me about $). I'm not doing to make a big income - I just thought I'd list a few things that I am going to get rid of anyway.

It is really easy to set up and no hassle, so I think it is definitely worth it.

Good luck

Thanks - listed 10 books today - all at low prices, and a wide varieyt of ones too - such wondered if I'd wasted 1/2hr or whether I had any chance of getting anything monetary back at some point in the future from it
