Reading the poncey thread it dawned om that many of those things are just the sort of thing the Beckhams would do.

And the Beckhams are the barometer of chavness. Chavness with money of course, but Daarling that's worse!

What do you reckon, would they:

Use Mont Blanc pens? check
have a personal trainer? check
Buy champagne (not Moet) by and case load and laugh with friends at the discount? check
Have a house with turret? check
get regular manicurse/pedicures? check
Never use plastic coat hangers? check
Order hampers from 'posh' shops? check
Only buy perfume that can't be purchased in high street chemist? defenitely

Be careful people, not so long ago, Burberry was poncey, you're trying to keep one step ahead of the nouveau, but feel that hot chavvy breath down your neck.

I reckon 1 turret is pobably classy Laullabyloo, but more than that chavvy.

Other things once poncy now become Beckhamesque chavvy....Gucci luggage....Lavish children's parties with an entrertainer....Christian Dior sunglasses....living in certain bits of Cheshire....
