Pin Number for mobile?

Does anyone know how you could obtain/get to know a pin number for a mobile phone please. I was sure there was another thread with this question put I'm unable to find it. TIA

I'm not sure if you can get the pin number but if you enter it wrong 3 times it will ask you for a puk code which you can get from the network supplier (in a shop or sometimes online).
Not sure if that helps.

I think you have to get it from the Network supplier - shop or ring them (think they ask a couple of security questions)
