If someone sent you a printed birthday invitation to go to their party and it also said that dinner was £75 per couple what would you think?

I hope they have a nice time.

Ceolas · 23/01/2007 14:29

Yes I'd hope they enjoyed it but unless it was close family (in which case I'd hope I'd been pre-warned) I wouldn't go.

ChipButty · 23/01/2007 14:30

!!!!!! I wouldn't expect to pay if someone else had invited me to their party! Nor would I ever invite someone to a party and ask them to stump up £75! Outrageous!

MrsBadger · 23/01/2007 14:31

I would, like hunker, hope they had a nice time. I might even send them a card.

JackieNo · 23/01/2007 14:32

No way would I pay £75. Outrageous.

Iklboo · 23/01/2007 14:32

That they'd sent April Fool cards out too early?

TrinityRhino · 23/01/2007 14:33

well, I think it's quite cheeky

we wouldn't be able to go, can't afford that.

might send them a card...maybe

SecondhandRose · 23/01/2007 14:34

Then we were asked for money for a present too, large amount.
