We had a bit of a whirlwind romance, living together by 7 months & married year to the day of our first date. Elvis - Can't help falling in love was our first dance and it went down a storm.

a friend had 'the you and me song' by the wanadies. i think that is what it's called, that was pretty cool.

Old workmate of mine had Abba's Waterloo ("Knowing my fate is to be with you...") and they learned the dance routine too.

It was very funny - in a nice way.

preggerspoppet I wanted to walk down the aisle to the You and Me song but my mum went all stroppy and I ended up with some unmemorable classical thing. We did walk back down to Here Comes the Sun though and everyone cheered when it started playing. Another consideration was Bonnie and Clyde by Space. Its refrain is all about "me and you against the world" which we loved. Trouble is they both get shot during the song!!!

I want to walk down the aisle to Abba, i do i do i do as it always makes me smile!

We had Carly Simon - You're the love of my life - everyone thought it was great and I don't know anyone else who even knows the song let alone used it for their first dance - I only knew it because DH a huge Carly Simon fan.

hi we got married last august and i posted on here to ask about a song for our first dance.
one that was suggested lots of times was "AMAZED" by LONESTAR.
we had that , it is a beautiful song and the words to it are really touching ....
just off to listen to it again !!!!
