The David Beckham academy rocks........

We spent a lovely afternoon there doing a fund raiser for PANCREATIC CANCER UK in memory of my friend who died, they did not charge us and were great, supplying loads of stuff.
A signed David Beckham shirt was auctioned for £1000.

And the kids had a great day seeing all the England and Man U stuff.

how many people were there?

Its in Greenwich and we had about 150 people.
Think we raised about £6000 today but all the money is not in yet, should be somewhere around £10,000 .

I think someone knew someone so that helped a bit, but it really was a great place and east to get to by tube (well if you live one a tube route that is).
