Clothes moths?

Elledouble · 16/06/2016 12:33

Are they silverfish?

Fostec1 · 16/06/2016 12:33

Silver fish

girlandboy · 16/06/2016 12:35

Silver fish move fast!
Carpet moth larvae usually have a papery case around them, though I've seen them without. And they are very very very slow!

Poke it and see if it moves Grin

Man those things eat everything. It's the only time I'm grateful for having ants.

Have you got a dog or cat?

Tiggerbounce123 · 16/06/2016 12:45

I have 2 cats! If you poke them they curl up! They are so small and thin I've never seen them before and I always keep my carpet clean :(

Here's a picture to show how small they are. It's really driving me insane!

i think your cats need worming.😷

PaintedDrivesAndPolishedGrass · 16/06/2016 12:54

I've just seen your last pic, looks like flea larvae.

Tuiles · 16/06/2016 12:56

I'd say flea larvae too. You will need to treat the whole house and especially anywhere the cats sleep.

Tiggerbounce123 · 16/06/2016 12:58

The cats get wormed and de flead every 4 weeks plus they are indoors too. How do you get rid of them?

Carpet beetle larvae I would think. They grown into things called hairy bears if they are!

FreshsatsumaforDd · 16/06/2016 13:02

Larvae from carpet moths before they cover themselves with threads of wool from the carpet. They eat the carpet, especially round the edges of in dark areas behind doors or under furniture.
