First Communion gift help required

My Goddaughter is taking her First Communion soon and I need to know what is an appropriate gift. She is 10 years old. Do I buy a nice religious gift? A piece of jewellery? Or gift vouchers?

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Traditionally it is a crucifix on a chain.

Money!! Although in saying that I do still have some jewellery from my Communion that I cherish. It doesn't need to be especially religious, I got some nice bracelets and rings. Engraving them is a nice touch too.
