No really I am and it's driving me mad. I cannot make a decision about anything just lately, even simple litlle things.

It took me ages to decide what to do for tea yesterday, what to order from the Next book and wether or not to go to the shop or not.

Those are only little things i know, but I am just hopeless at the mo.

Can't decide wether do get a job or go back to college, wether to book a holiday for next year, have driving lessons e.t.c. the list is endless.

Is anyone else like this ???

Me and my husband both are and it causes loads of arguments between us! What would be a nice meal out turns into ' where shay will go' I dont know, you decide, no you, I dont know, how about...?, no what about...?, oh forget it and so forth. You are not alone nutty...unless its the smog covering brummieland that does it

Tinker · 02/06/2004 11:32

Yes. But I'm a Libran so I'm allowed. I tend to go for 'Leave it long enough and the problem will sort itself out' approach. Today I've made a list of things to do - sometimes that works.

strangerthanfiction · 02/06/2004 11:33

Oh yes, awful. I can literally stand still not knowing which way to turn, then turn one way for a few steps, go back again, stand still, go the other way. Nightmare. I drive dp mad.

Janh · 02/06/2004 11:34

I am most of the time. And if I get decisive it's usually the wrong decision! I often ask the kids what we should have for tea...

Tinker, I'm Aries and am supposed to be Very Decisive but my rising sign is Libra and I can dither for England.

Fio, luckily DH knows what I like so in restaurants he decides straight away, I take ages, then don't like what I get and he swaps and I like his. Bless. It works quite well! (He eats anything.)

strangerthanfiction · 02/06/2004 11:34

When it comes to shopping in fact I often get so frustrated with my inability to decide what to buy that I leave the shop with nothing. Happened on Monday, dp looked after dd for the day so I could buy myself some new clothes which I haven't had time to do in a year but I couldn't decide what to get and came home empty handed. What an idiot, I was really cross with myself.

monkeygirl · 02/06/2004 11:35

Me and dh are exactly like you Fio2. Means we usually end up doing nothing or both of us not being happy with the choice we've made.

For me the grass is always greener on the other side, no matter what decision I'm trying to make...

Fio2 · 02/06/2004 11:37

Jan if I tried to swap with my dh he would be huffing and puffing, still have a go though

jampot · 02/06/2004 11:38

I can't make my mind up either nor can dh (Brummies too)! so it must be the smog...

Nutcracker · 02/06/2004 11:38

Well thank god for that, at least i'm not the only one.

I do all of those things and more.

STF- I went shopping for new clothes last week and came back with nothing too.

FIO - That sounds like a conversation me and Dp would have.

Maybe i should try making a list.
I am a Gemini but haven't a clue what that means really.

gemini is 2 people, Nutty - makes perfect sense!

marthamoo · 02/06/2004 11:41

God yes! I'm a typical Libran - can't make up my mind about anything, can see all sides of an argument, go round in circles and end up failing to reach a decision at all.

Fio2 · 02/06/2004 11:42

we are both scorpios what does that mean?

Nutcracker · 02/06/2004 11:43

Really Jan, how interesting. Actually my dad is gemini too and he's the same.

Right, need to decide wether to go to the shop now, or after dinner

I'm a Taurus ... thought I was meant to be a bit of a bull-head ...

Janstar · 02/06/2004 11:56

I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure...

Janh · 02/06/2004 11:57

Janstar, that's one of my 2 mottos - the other is Tomorrow I'm going to get organised.

Nutcracker · 02/06/2004 11:58

Right i have decided, i'm off to the shop.

Due to my other thread, it will be bread and butter for tea

strangerthanfiction, are you me? (re clothes shopping)

marthamoo · 02/06/2004 12:28

I used to have a little sign that said "I finally got it all together....then I forgot where I put it."
