Noddy - touring

A non-recommendation I'm afraid! We saw an ad in the local paper for a fun family day out to meet the noddy characters. We paid a total of £15 for parking and entrance, queued for an hour and a half in various queues, DD saw noddy for a total of 4 seconds . by the time DD actually got to see him, we had queued for so long that she was tired, hot and in tears. The dissapointment was indescribable, I'm sure we could have put £15 to a much better use (and made DD much happier)! Ah well, live and learn. It is a touring 'attraction' though, so it might be in your area over the summer and I really wouldn't recommend it!

Another non-recomendation from me as well. What a total waste of money today was. £3.90 to park £5.50 admission for over 3's, there was little to do once inside. The queues were ridiculous. No thought had been put into anything. £1.50 for a tiny carton of chips, £1 for a go on the bouncy castle and a daft circus skills tent.

This event is purely designed to make as much money as possible for little outlay. Most of us queing to get in realised how rubbish it would be but what do you do when you have told your child they are going to see Noddy.

Feel exactly the same JulieF. We even went for a wander around Tatton park in the hope that DD would forget about Noddy (duh!), or that the queue would shrink at least a little in the meantime, no such luck!

Thanks so much, I was considering this.

Hope you had a good time at Tatton anyway

....and, to top it all off, my sister rang me earlier and said "You'll never guess who was at 'Asda' today!". Yes, Noddy, at Asda, free and about 2 minutes from my house!
