Alternative to cot bumpers?

Does anyone have an alternative to cot bumpers? DS is sleeping in a Grobag but is managing to wriggle above the thin blanket we use to tuck him in, thus moving around the cot. Worried he is going to get and an arm stuck in between side of cot.
Have priced up the bumpers but they are very expensive for what they are - is there a cheap alternative?
Many thanks
Wellsie

wellsie - how old is he, because I'm sure it is reccommended not to use bumpers until they are 12 months, but I may have made that up. I never used one, both children were in fleeces until the moved to a bed, and I think there was only one occasion when a leg got stuck, and the screams alerted me pdq.

FWIW, I think most health profs would advise against cot bumpers at all, as they restrict ventilation and pose a (small) suffocation/SIDS risk.

my ds2 is also in grobag and has wiggled arm and leg stuck between the bars. i used all my muslin squares folded them across into triangles and tied them around 3-4 bars at a time. i have to keep re-tying them as they do slip down but is much cheaper than cot bumpers and less dangerous.
