dd has a friend here, invited for tea.
butas we were leaving school her mum said "X said she's not hungry and will probably not need anything to eat, so don't worry if she doesn't want any."
X is standing there stuffing Haibos in her mouth, she has a big bag ful, gobble, gobble. When we were in the car I suggested she put them away 'otherwise she definilely wouldn't want any tea' i said it with a smile and she put them in her bag. As we pulled up she was sneaking another one. her bag is now in the kitchen and after hearing her twice go in for another i've quietly put them in the cupboard.
have i done right?
if she asks for them i was going to say 'oh ds might eat them so i've put them in a safe place for you.'
