Spa day gown

I'm not really sure if this is the best place to ask but....

Does anyone know if spa's provide gowns in larger sizes? I'm going to a spa soon and really worried it won't fit me.

I've only been to one before and I was a lot smaller then and even then it didn't cover me!

I know this sounds like a really shallow post but I'm really panicking. It's with a group of tiny girls and I will already stand out as the"fat girl" and I'm dreading turning up and will have my ample body on display for all to see.

IME they have gowns in all sizes. If you're worried when you get there have a quiet word with reception, it won't be the first time.
Have a great day.

It'd be best to call the spa and ask if they have the size you need, or indeed a size up. I often prefer to wear a bigger size in bath robes at these places 'cause it feels more secure.

I share your pain! They normally have bigger sizes and will be discrete. Give them a call beforehand if you like, and ask if they can have one ready for you. That saves you standing at reception like a lemon! Have fun.

yy, do ask them to reserve one

Not at Champneys - in my recent experience.

My friend is fat and was really unhappy with her robe, they changed it but the replacement was exactly the same.

Maybe phone in advance to check.

Thank you everyone, I was worried I would sound like a spoilt princess worrying about it!

I will give them a call tomorrow, I'm sure I can't be the only fat customer they have ever had!!

Not at all!

If they don't have the right size ask them what fabric their gowns are (usually troweling but sometimes waffle). Presumably they'll be white, but it's always best to check.

In the worst case scenario it shouldn't be hard to fine something suitable for small money.
