Just had my turn down to party - HELP !!!!!!!!

Just had my first mum say "no sorry but so and so can't come to your party!.......aaahh help what if NO-ONE turns up I'll die. Have invited 10. Has anyone else ever had this?

Yes - a few. Have DD's party on Saturday, and out of 19 kids in her class, we've got 15 able to come. Don't panic yet - I'm sure most of them will come .

I invited 20 to DS's party last year and only 13 turned up. This year I overcompensated, invited 24 and so far 22 have confirmed... the venue only allows a maximum of 20....

They will turn up, there is always on eor two thatcan't make it, but as others have said at least she phoned.

What - do you mean what if NO ONE turns up? That won't happen.

Make sure your kid tells those other kids that you;ve got really good party bags

Have you got time to send out another invitation for the spare place?

Actually the ones who tell you they can't come are the good ones - there's always some who don't reply, and others who say they will come and then don't turn up, with no explanation. And maybe even the ones who when you've invited one child reply that said child AND their sibling(s) who your dc doesn't even knwo will be attending!
