You just buy a wireless router and plug it into your phone/broadband connection in the wall. Then you plug a receiver into your PC and off you go - you can then site it anywhere as the receiver receives the signal from the router.

And it is the best thing in the world ever

I don't find the signal very reliable, it is not living up to my expectations at all!

I'm wireless and I find if I'm downstairs (router is upstairs) then the signal strength is reduced. Is fab though.

Hi just had to tell you what we did when we wanted a wireless router.

We are BT broadband customers and also been customers with them for years.

DH rang customers services and asked them for a bit of customer loyalty, he wanted money off his bill and anything free anyway after about 45 minutes of DH being polite but firm and being transferred from phone to phone, we are paying about £25 a quarter less than we used to do and we got a FREE wireless router.

We had a bit of a bet that morning so I rung SKY up which was a lot harder, after an hour of being passed around, I spoke to Billy a fellow liverpool supporter and ended up getting a free sky box and 1/2 price on my sky bill for 6 months, £21 instead of £42.
