Indigestion or allergy to tomato?

My DD is 18 months old, has a milk and egg allergy so is very sensitive. This evening for supper she tried a very small slither of tomato for the first time, with quite a large bowl of pasta. She was very hungry and ate a lot but about an hour later she had her milk as usual, and was then sick. After changing her gro-bag and settling her, she slept for an hour. She's just woken, crying and it has taken nearly 30 mins to comfort her. She kept coughing as though trying to either burp or be sick again. Could her stomach be reacting to the tomato, or has she got indigestion from eating a lot quickly? What does anyone else think?

Or she could just have a tummy bug. Try the tomato again in a few weeks and see what happens.

Was the tomato cooked or fresh?

If it was fresh I would wait a few weeks and then try some cooked, processed tomato (like a pasta sauce or tinned spagetti). If it was already cooked I would leave it until nearer 2 years.

My ds is allergic to egg and was allergic to dairy and this is what his dietician said to do.
