I'm meeting my sister there tomorrow - apart from my panic at getting down the A1 from Yorkshire to the sodding place without getting lost (I will!) does anyone know if there is somewhere that will warm baby milk / baby food for me???

Its really easy to find too, honest, big signs. If you zoom past, which you shouldn't cos the turning is straight after a roundabout, then come off at the next junction (A52 to Nottingham) turn left at the top and get back on the A1. You will then have to go back to the roundabout and try again.

Lisa78 · 25/05/2004 19:05

yeah, whats your mobile number, I'll ring you about 9am shrieking that I'm lost

Seriously, thanks bbensley, I was quite worried about finding it (DH muttering how easy it is, is not reassuring!) and worrying about warming the porker's food up!

Part of the place is called Boundary Mill and part of it is Downtown, it looks like a warehouse ..... ermmmm there are services on the roundabout I mentioned, if I think of more clues/landmarks I will add them

Oh the lift to the upstairs, which is where the one of the restaurants is and the toilets are, is in the boundary mill bit.
There might be toilets downstairs too, can't remember.

My mum lives pretty close by so we visit it when we are over there. Don't recall toilets downstairs but they keep expanding it so perhaps now. Downstairs is half furniture/half adult clothes, upstairs more womens clothes, kids, Toymaster, shoes, sports, household and books. There is also a garden centre in a separate building. It is on quite a large roundabout junction, as bbensley said, and you seem to head off along a side road to the east before turning into the actual complex. Coffee shop food is very acceptable.

Have fun !

Good Luck!!!!!!

Lisa78 · 26/05/2004 19:11

Yippee!!! Made it there AND back - I got slightly panicked just before I got there, cos autoroute told me 68 miles and I had done 70 and couldn't see anything in sight, but then it loomed on my left - phew!
I've been sooooo good, I only spent £97! Kept it to two figures - that place is bloody lethal
