Moving an Elderly Parent - bridging loans?

My father died earlier this year and my mother who is now very bad on her feet has finally decided to move nearer to me (currently 3 hrs away). I have found the perfect flat and wish to act now. Her home is on the market with lots of interest but no buyer yet. Is there some way I can start things moving? I'm going mad under the pressure of it all. I was wondering about a bridging loan but they seem to use 75 as a cut off age and she is 76 in a couple of weeks. I don't want to miss the flat and want it all sorted ASAP. AM I just being impatient or is there something I can do to get things moving?

Many thanks

Bridging loans are hideouly expensive too!
The only way to engender a quick sale is to srop the price realistically.
Hope it all happens for you though, it must be very stressful

OMG how insenstive am I.
Sorry for your loss too, and I hope your mother is ok and has handled it all without too much toll taken on her... It can be very upsetting for elderly folk to lose their life partner, my darling grandmother in law lost her husband and has only just found her wayout of it...
Good luck and much love and sorry for the crap brisk earlier reply...
