What effect have AS levels had on Easter holidays?

Hello Mums, and a big thanks to anyone who can help out with my question.

I work for an optician and in the past have had good business from teenagers (and their mums who normally hold the wallets!) around Easter holidays in the past. But I've heard that AS levels may begin to effect this, because poor guys are revising for either GCSE, A or AS levels.

Would you mums be happy taking your teens to an optician at Easter, or is it just study study study?

if my child needed glasses then i would take them at any time of the year
why Easter?

Well holiday periods are busier, it's a good time to do all those things you never get round to during the rest of the year I suppose.
But Christmas hols people are visiting family or going to the sales apparently, summer hols lots of people are on 2 week breaks.

I have 3 sisters, aged 18, 17 and 16. They all wear glasses or contact lenses. If they needed to go to the opticians they would go mainly in the school holidays. (Mum would never really let them go during school time unless absolutely necessary.)

Teenagers, IMO, don't study study study through all of their holidays, even when the exams are close! Any excuse for a trip out of the house and they'll be there!!
Plus they know they've got more chance of getting out of the house for an hour or two to go to the opticians, rather than asking to meet up with friends!
