I presume so...I have bought one for ds2b due in 4 weeks time as it will be cold..!! DD was a may baby so never needed one till she was older..

The one I have says from 0-6 months...

I would say yes- I used one. Just watch dc doesn't over heat esp when going indoors... but that just means pulling the top off them etc... using common sense etc!

i did and it kept dd lovely and snug - she was october baby.

agree that you need to loosen it off it's not so cold.

we also had the techno classic mclaren from birth and it worked out fine.
