all ready for dd going back to nursery thursday this week, friend txt last night saying to dd have a nice day tomorrow??..check yellow 'events' list from school...Wednsday 3rd - school reopens!!!sh*t!

get all stuff ready last night, wonder how i ever missed that????..then vaguely rememeber a 'white' events list, just for christmas being passed out, which i had obv thrown away when she broke up!!!!!!1...woke up two parents who told me off for being so dim and waking them up from their last sleep in..dd is not devastated she isnt at school today!

I don't get it, was she meant to be starting today and you missed or you thought she was meant to be woke to parents when in fact she wasn't?

ds 5 went back to school today. we overslept for the first time ever. woke up 9.30am. just took him in then. he was so excited about seeing his buddies we would have been a nightmare at home.

DC got a letter to say school starts back today, but they didn't put on the letter that it was an INSET day. There were some very upset parents at the school this morning, I wasn't one of them though.

my dd went back yesterday. Now that was early!

I'm confused. What is it you did?

I think SSF thought they went back today so phoned a couple of parents to check and woke them up. The school didn't open today but tomorrow instead. Friend that sent the text was mistaken!
LOL, well thats what I think happened anyway.

thanks Kid, couldn/didnt out it better myself..when i went in with dd this morn i laughed about it with teaching assistant who said hoards of aprents turned up yesterday as the 'yellow' form was printed wrong and should have said "school re-opens, teachers only"!!..so glad i woke paretn up!
