MAC users-how do you find out what was on an internet history which has been deleted?

I don't actually think it's possible - I did try myself once as DP had deleted something I needed but I couldn't find a way of recuperating it. I'm usually quite good at anything to do with Macs as it used to be my job but this has got me stumped, so if anyone knows please reveal all.

have you cleared the cache? If so, then the answer is no. If the cache has not been cleared you can use this retrospective to look for files.

Have found out why dh deleted the history anyway- granny porn and local sex partner search

Feel a bit sick.
