small computer question

on hogmany my dd was on the internet and something has happened to the font size on web pages. Mumsnet is ok but sites like the bbc and google are all huge.

How can I turn it back to normal it's starting to hurt my eyes! I know I've been shown how to do this at work but I can't for the life of me remember how to fix it.

So come on mumsnetters help me out please. But the way incase it makes a difference I'm on AOL.

at the top of the screen:

VIEW

then:

TEXT SIZE

click on a lower one

Do you have a scroll mouse ~ if so hold down ctrl while scrolling down. My kids do it to mine all the time,
