Hi everyone! My family and I are planning to make a move with in the next 7 or 8 months. About 8 hours away. We will also be leaving my parents and single brother. I would like to make this move but I worry about my children. I am not too worried about the 9 yr old girl because she adapts to anything. We have sat down and talked to my 12 yr old boy. We have ask his opinion on moving. He tells us thet he really doesnt want to leave his school and church and of course Grandma and Grandpa. I think he has alot of mixed feelings. As those of you who have children at this age probally would know how hard it would be for an almost 13 yr old to move somewhere new. I just wanted to see if any of you had any ideas of how to make this move a little more easier. My dh and I have made plans to meet the principal of the new private school. We wanted him to take a tour of the surroundings. We also made plans to meet the church pastor. These are 2 of the biggest concerns my ds has. I would really appreciate any other ideas.
