I have just realised that I got a parking ticket a couple of weeks ago - Im not sure where Ive put it and need to pay it - anyone know where I ring to get a copy of it/pay for it over the phone?

You'll need to pay it at the Mags Court in the area it was issued. If you ring the Magistrates Court explain you've lost it they'll have a record of it (as they'll be expecting your payment). You can pay it by post. My sis got about 3 this time last year and hadn't told the DVLA she'd moved 6 months earlier so a couple were overdue - no extra fine. Also it is worth checking the registration number on the ticket as one of sisters had a digit wrong (so basically can't trace it to you!) - morally wrong but financially very right!

You don't need to ring the magistrates court. Just ring the relevant borough's parking department and give your car registration and they will tell you how many you have outstanding. I would do this today in case you are in time to pay the half amount within 14 days. YOu can give them a credit card number.

Good thinking Twiglett

Thinking about it I think it was issued by the police as opposed to traffic warden as I was parked on a foot path
