Dd, 3 gave up her dummies at nap time today. She left them out for santa & he left her a note & a Bob the Builder toy. The nap was non exsistant. Just lots of crying, pleading for 2 hours, so I let her up.
The sleep tonight, not as bad, as had dh to help. But still lots of crying. I was in with her just now (it's 10pm, btw) chatting & told her I needed to go & have a cup of tea & would come back & she's asleep!
2 hours it took. Not as hard as I anticipated, but hard enough all the same!
My little girl, asleep for the first time in 2.5 years with no dummy......Yay!!!!
