You know the times when it's only you laughing at something not really funny in circumstances where it is wholly inappropriate so you have to try to hide it but that makes you want to laugh even more.
Mine was at an exam board training day ina posh hotel in central London. Big table with lots of other teachers and noone knows anyone else. The bloke running it starts to discuss the oral test part of the course wanting to know who has experience they want to share and starts off by saying
"Okay, who here gives good orals?"
I start to splutter assuming everyone will and of course noone does and they all start to discuss who is good at giving orals, how long a good one takes, what they use etc.
I couldnt believe noone else was like me desparately trying not to piss myself lauging in a room full of professsional strangers!
