Join us as we speculate wildly on series 3 scheduling, plot and how long Aramis will be able to keep his vow of chastity for.

Hmm. It's getting quite desperate in the snuggery now.

Hmm.

Oh, so I asked a friend whether I should try to do a roodey sexytimes scene in my nanov and she was quite insistent that I did, as long as it wasn't like a 50 shades of whatevs 'sex' scene. Now, wenches, I have never read it or seen the movie, so I have no idea what that means.
Do I write the roodey sexytimes like that? I hope not.
She's coming over tomorrow to read it, so fingers crossed eh.

FancyFancy · 20/01/2016 20:28

I've never read it norah, but I don't think so - I've heard the prose in that is er, not of top quality & a bit cliched. Whereas your filth writing is rather enjoyable. Especially the Aramis stuff Grin

Ah I get it now. I was riding on the horse with Aramis to get far enough away from sparks to sneak in a quickie on her rota night. We would then ride hard back to the Tav & hope we got away with it.

LOL at the 'old relic' comment. And what Fancy said in the first bit, apart from the Aramis stuff. Which was good, but the wrong Musketeer from my point of view.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 20/01/2016 21:30

What trouble do you never have with me Norah??

Halo
Lyndie · 20/01/2016 21:34

Nor just skip to the good bit. Wink

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 20/01/2016 21:37

Norah If you need any help with the roodey stuff, feel free to give me a shout. I know my stuff isn't the style you usually read but I may be able to help a bit Grin

AnneEtAramis · 20/01/2016 21:37

Norah, good to see you.

I seem to have a thing for men with place names as names - Santiago, Orlando er, Hugo.

Badders123 · 20/01/2016 21:41

Anne...was watching the hobbit with ds1 earlier this evening legolas
Norah I can assure you your sexy story will be far far superior to 50SofG!!

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 20/01/2016 22:23

Have just watched Sherlock Xmas special Grin

MiladyBeaWinter · 20/01/2016 22:33

Did you understand it Helen? I enjoyed it, but was bewildered a lot of the time.

LetUsPrey · 20/01/2016 22:41

LetUsPrey · 20/01/2016 22:45

Meant to say - I listened to The Guilty Feminist podcast Comtess. Very much enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next one!

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 20/01/2016 22:46

Hi MrsB nice to see you. Yes, I'd heard it was confusing, but it made sense to me. What does that say about my brain Confused All the victorian stuff was a drug-induced story playing out in his mind - or that's what I assumed.

And wasn't I meant to be going to bed?

Obs2016 · 20/01/2016 23:00

Anne, that's is so cool about the lecturer. Is W&P his speciality?

FolknNorah · 21/01/2016 07:02

❄️❄️❄️MMMMOOORRRRNNIIIIIIIINNNNGGGGG FFFFFFUUUUCCCCCKKKEEEERRRSSSSZZZZZ❄️❄️❄️

Grin Brew
😄. ☕️

I'm a bit nervous, I've never had a person in RL read my stuff, and she's reading a roodey bit (if she wants to, fair do's if she doesn't) 😱😱😱😱

I'm sorry. But only that face will do. That's how I feel, so wish me luck wenchies.

Annnyyyeewaaaayyyyy. I hope you're all well my lovelies? Lovely And cold again this morning. Whooooooooohooooooo!

AnneEtAramis · 21/01/2016 07:08

Obs, my fellow Russophile. He specialises in the Revolution and Stalinism but he wrote a cultural history of Russia which is why he does projects like this, he was also the consultant on Keira Knightley AK and he adopts a cultural and literary angle to a lot of his writing and teaching. I have read so many great books recommended by him.

Norah, you will be fine. Your stuff is great.

Must dash, need to get ready. I'll just leave you with one of my faves.

Morning wenches.

Norah all will be well.

Loved the NYD Sherlock, although I'm a tiny bit biased.

Anne that picture is a rather fabulous start to the day

Laterz wenches

Obs2016 · 21/01/2016 08:11

Oh Anne, I've come over all funny Grin Stalinism? My fave!! What a nice sideline - the being a consultant on AK & W&P. Sounds bliss.

Norah, do not fret, your stuff is fab and if she's got half a brain cell she will of course be as impressed as all us wenches are!

Am on my iPad and I only have 3 HBF pictures on here, so here they all are.

^That Aramis is my phone lock screen, meaning I see it about 200 times a day. I wonder if I'll ever get sick of it.

Mrs B - nope, I didn't get Sherlock much either. It got a bit of a lukewarm reception in this house of usually-mad-for-it viewers. I do sometimes think are the writers trying just a bit too hard at the clever?

Oh & Anne just snorted porridge at that famous town of Hugo Grin

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 21/01/2016 08:23

Morning all!

Norah If I could write as well as you (including roodey stuff) I would be so pleased! You are far better than you think you are!

FancyFancy · 21/01/2016 08:36

Morning

I'm sure it will be fine norah & she will like it, you write well (especially the roodey bits Wink )

Fantastic, today is Thursday

Nora you'll be fine - you're good, so stop stressing. Grin

-2 this morning - brrr and ice welded to the car - none of this 'scrape it off' business, it was well and truely bonded I had to get out the lube and fish slice antifreeze spray which stinks to high heaven. Grin

Morning all. I am going to knuckle down and work today, and not be distracted by internet stuff (except maybe look for new shoes).

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 21/01/2016 08:56

Sparks We have something in common Shock Sherlock leaves me cold too - I thought I would love it as it seems to be compulsory for Doctor Who fans but I only got two episodes in before I decided it wasn't for me.

Fancy As there's a bit of intellectual chat on the thread with the pro-Russian wenches, I don't feel wanky about mentioning that I downloaded some Latin and Greek language apps onto my phone last night! When I have finished knitting the blanket for my friend's new baby I really need to get back to studying!

I also have found a shed load of series of Roman novels via Amazon and am gradually getting them.

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 21/01/2016 08:58

You ARE one of the Latin (nlt) wenches aren't you? ^^

Badders123 · 21/01/2016 09:06

Oh liv!
Titles please!.....
