Dh is now extremely chuffed that you mentioned him on your thread. He is quite romantic - sometimes - but is definitely enjoying hearing about your romance - perhaps it's bringing some memories back for him as we also started as an office romance - although in our case I was actually his boss and we too had a shag on the desk in the boardroom. We are still together 15 years later and have managed to make it work despite being a very unlikely couple - he is younger than me, Indian and was destined for an arranged marriage before I stuck my oar in !{ So to speak ! }If things could work out for a strange pair like us, it can definitely work out for you and your bf - and we didn't have all the Mumsnetters behind us !!
