don't worry about the gossip - I used to love it when people slept with colleagues. Kept me going for days in an otherwise completely boring job.

If they do talk about it, they'll talk about it for a bit and then something else will take over.

expatinscotland · 17/12/2006 21:53

At least you remembered it!

It's not just like some scene out of 'Momento', where you're thinking, 'WTF did I do?'

beansprout · 17/12/2006 21:53

Way-hey! Nothing wrong with a good, sturdy desk!!

I'm impressed - there's no room on my desk for a cup of tea - let alone a person !

You did take all your underwear home didn't you ? Would be so funny if there were pants hanging somewhere that you spotted during the meeting !!!

I remember reading once that the best way to spot if two people have slept together is that they go from talking together to not speaking or avoiding each other, so you might want to bear that in mind....

Just make up a story and if pushed, stick to it. And stay stuck to it!

No they don't KNOW - they might SUSPECT but only you two KNOW - and tomorrow's behaviour will be the defining moment !

ACT NORMALLY !! Do not change your habits - brazen it out - do what you would normally do - and if he mentions it you can deal with that then. But always remember that only you two actualy KNOW what happens.

Head high lippy on !!

VPL · 17/12/2006 22:00

Just laugh it off and let them think what they want. I'm on your behalf though

7swansaswimmingup · 17/12/2006 22:01

I reckon he'll be in really early with a new tie and polished shoes, hoping to catch your eye!

Good luck Amanda - let us know how you get on.

StarrmumofRoyalBeautyBright · 17/12/2006 22:13

Oh the joys of vicarious living!

Can't really see what the problem is - you're both single. He's probably dead chuffed! Only thing I could say is to face the world with pride - nothing has changed, you had a great shag, and so what?

If you don't want things to go any further (and you've said you doubt he does) then tomorrow is just another day. It will probably do his ego good anyway if you behave as if nothing has happened.

Way to go girl!

Will you be leaving an extra button undone?
