Hi, wanted to do a quick poll on my daughter's abbreviated name - we christened her Francesca, but have always called her Chessie for short - and it suits her beautifully. BUT, to date we've always spelt it Cessie (as there's obviously no H in Francesca) - and I don't think I can cope any more with Father Christmases and the like pronouncing it Cessie (as you would). i know world peace and the state of the world are marginally more important but in my little micro world, my big dilemna is whether I should start spelling Cessie with an H or leave it as it is and get over it? But then what happens when she starts to read and write and spell - won't she get terribly confused with Cessie pronounced Chessie??!! I could say it's the Italian pronounciation - but even that's wearing a bit thin now...
Aaaargh.
