A conversation to/about me which DS1 & DS2 had this morning:

DS1 : You're a babe!
DS2 : She's not a Baby, she's a mummy.
DS1 : I didn't say BABY I said BABE.

Brought a smile to my face anyway...

Ahh, bless him. They do come out with funny things. My DD (3) yesterday:

"Mummy - isn't it funny how my body is 3 but my feet are 8" !!

we've been discussing the merits of eating all our food i.e it'll make you grow big!

dd: i will grow big won't i?

dh: yes!

dd: what will make me grow small?

dh: smoking!

just to add to the funnies!!!

Which was lovely when he said it to me but I felt rather less warm when he said it to his plastic gorilla.

I just love it when ds twin1 smiles at me when he wakes up and always says "mummy my mummy." I am never just mummy to him! He will also sit beside me, on a cushion so he can put his arm round my neck!

Not to be outdone ds twin2 likes to sit on my knee and will pull my arms around him for a hug, wiggling his toes while he does.

This is what parenting is about!

DD1 told my mother she should rub cream into her face every morning "to stop it falling off", then paused and said "actually, Nanna, it looks like it's slipped a bit already!!"
