Batmans or batmen?

I say batmen, dp says batmans. We are both adamant.

I say batman. Or if something belongs to him I sat batman's. What exactly are we talking about?

DH is saying Batmen... I think so too... I think.

My brain screams "But there is only one Batman!!!"

then it goes onto "There can be only one"

and then "No, that's Highlander..."

As in.....a few

then I would say Batmen.

DS will be upset if there is more than one Batman though

We're talking plurals.

There's only one batman. if there was lots it would be batmen but that is wrong as there is only one imho.

Look on ebay. There are hundreds

then in that case you'd refer to them as batman figures or toys not batmen so you are right.
