I need to arrange buildings and contents, mortgage protection and life cover for a house move.

Anyone have any tips or good links for good deals?

usually tesco are cheaper that other insurers, but i've only used them for pet and holiday insurance. worth getting a quote to see if this applies to the insurance you need. i would have thought your bank might bend over backwards to give you a good deal. see if you can negotiate with them.

I'm not sure how they compare on price,I'm too damn lazy to check, but we've had very good service from Norwich Union.

Prudential were best for buildings and contents for us.

We got a very good deal with Liverpool Victoria .

It was recommended to us by my parents - my dad even rang them up to check that the cover was as comprehensive as he needed, as the quote was so much chepaer than everywhere else!
