HELP - even tho' my computer is plugged in it's on battery....what's wrong?

I've changed the fuse
I've tried a different socket
Do I buy a new lead?

is it definitely plugged in at the transformer box, that always gets me, have you tried a different socket?. Have you rebooted?

might be either the plug or the recharge circuit. I've had no end of problems like that with mine, it's had two new recharge thigns and a new lead in the past 8 months. It's not an asus is it?
