I know, because I can see the smoke form my living room window!

No, not according to MIL. It is quite a way off in the distance.

Scary tho...before I spoke to MIL I had thoughts of mass evacuation!

No didn't see Robbie but did see Kylie last night. Am still singing and dancing today.

I always worry about my pil who live up in the hills and are at a high risk. We stayed with them for couple of months earlier in the year and everytime I heard fire engines I was on edge.

It's not nice, I was sitting here just as the smoke started up, think 'ohhh, should I be calling some one' Then I saw that planes flying over it.

Things are certainly not boring over in your neck of the woods. Giant lizards last week and bush fires this week.

well it is that time of year.... my aunt lives up in the dandenongs near Melbourne and usually faces bushfires at least once a summer if not more.

Don't worry they will evacuate you if there is a need - no one will leave you there.....

I thought it was dying down a while ago, but the smoke has just started to get bad again. But from a differnet place, so obviously has spread!
