hhhm, i should imagine that it both slides and bunches... making it doubly irritating. what about a blanket box on one side, a wardrobe on the other and a chest of drawers at the bottom to pin the mattress into place? i'm sure you'd sleep really well...

We're on the floor atm - try putting a beanbag on the floor at the head end, then pillows can rest against that.
