Something I readm a light hearted look at resolutions.
I will not forget my children are in the back seat when I give colourful advice to mentally challenged drivers when we are running late for school
I will not use the fine tooth comb & the tangles in my child's hair as an excuse to punish them for their bad behaviour this morning.
I will yell less & whisper more
I will remember that it is better to vacuum less & be happy, than to have a clean house & a vacuum in my life
I will not throw the baby out with the bath water
I will not play favourites with my children, even though they play favourites with Mum & Dad
I will persist in feeding my children green vegatables, based on research that it takes eight tries before they like it. My husband's track record over several decades flies in the face of this research but I will keep serving him cabbage.
I will buy my husband that new PS2 game (if he eats his cabbage)
I will be better prepared for Christmas next year
I will not pass my childhood insecurities onto my children
I will read help manuals & take them with a pinch of salt. No-one was meant to be perfect!
