Wenches know how to parteeeee. The 2015 Oktoberfest is in Munich. Now, who do we know who lives in Munich eh? Shall we transport ourselves over, virtually, using the Tardis? Or shall we just wench and party and have our own Musketeer tribute UK based Oktoberfest of our own?

I agree with ali. He must know he's been an unreasonable fuckwit so is trying to act like it never happened.

I've had a bad few days with TM. The past two days on return from preschool he's been quite aggressive and shouty and seems overly tired. I'm guessing it's tiredness? His home school diary is full of praise of how lovely and well behaved he is there. Apparently an utter joy. Is it just being worn out from preschool by the time he gets home?

MiladyBeaWinter · 13/10/2015 16:33

He'll be knackered Mouse. Only a week and a half until half term for you? We go back earlier and broke up Fri just gone. My two were shattered and totally ready for the break and they are 6 & 8.

Elk Wine [cwtch] what a twat. I'd far rather be at home than go out to work but it doesn't mean it's easier, it's just different and if he can't see that he deserves a night on the sofa bed. Because as well as the 24/7 on call-ness there is also the fact you put your career on hold and changed your whole life. Given all the nice stuff we s heard about him before I'm hoping he was just having a bad day / knackered himself. Because otherwise wenches.

Flopsy28 · 13/10/2015 16:39

Bloody hell elk, what knobby behaviour....but, most do it because they're a fickle, shallow bunch of bar stewards. I know I've been on the receiving end of such fucktrumpery before and I also know it's not usually meant. No excuses as it bloody hurts, but I'm sure this is him being knackered and frustrated at sommat else.

MiladyBeaWinter · 13/10/2015 16:41

Oh and also Mouse he is being lovely all day and can't be a little shit at pre-school. But he can with you because you're his Mum and he feels secure enough to know you'll love him anyway. So tired + fed up of being an angel = total shit storm at home. Being that primary caregiver is a piece of piss eh

MiladyBeaWinter · 13/10/2015 16:43

Flooooooppppppers!

How are you? Are they out?

Flopsy28 · 13/10/2015 16:51

They are out. And it bloody hurt.
I've missed being in here but I was finding it impossible to keep up, and then, like a brilliant programme, you think you've missed too much so give up. And you have new names going on.....Confused

MiladyBeaWinter · 13/10/2015 16:53

Ouch. Hope you are being well looked after?!

I'm still a bit confused about the names too

IssyStark · 13/10/2015 17:03

hugs elk and passes Wine

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 13/10/2015 17:07

Don't piss off the wenches Angry

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 13/10/2015 17:08

Brew for Issy

Flopsy28 · 13/10/2015 17:12

45 mins sleep? How are you functioning? Or you elk? I'm not sleeping well but I manage more than that in any one stint

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 13/10/2015 18:28

I can't function without sleep Confused

Badders123 · 13/10/2015 18:51

Mouse....you are his safe place.
He obviously feels tired and he knows he can push it at home because of the unconditional love you give him.
X

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 13/10/2015 19:02

Elk. FMWAC. Tom would just not do this, K?

Neither would Hugo Actually, he might

Flops glad that trauma is over. Ssssssh. Porthos will take care of you.

Errrrm, that's about it. Oh - Madame they were looking at a horse Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 13/10/2015 19:24

Being a normally nice considerate DH does not give him licence to be an utter twatbadger like that. (I find vanish is very useful, but it still doesn't get whatever pens they use at school out of DS' shirts)

Apricot - I think that in the circumstances Elk deserved that GIF at least three times.

Madame - hurrah for last day in JobFromHell

Floppers Good to see you back in here. And excellent news re stiches out. I recommend a soothing back rub from Porthos to distract you from any discomfort.

Badders randomly, I was shopping at Sainsburys on the way home and someone was asking about flu jabs and latex sensitivity. I think the answer was that she was fine unless she was hyper-sensitive. Hope you get it sorted anyway. I'd be being v. stroppy with Dr and asking why, having been told it was essential for the past 20 years, is it nownot essential any more?

I've been at work.

ApricotCrush · 13/10/2015 19:34

At the surgery where I used to work, they gave the flu jab to anyone who asked for it. It saved time and trouble in the long run. Don't know whether they still do it, I haven't been there for a while.

Obs2015 · 13/10/2015 19:38

OMG what a bloody day you've all had!!

Hope Madame is going well in her new job.

And Bads and thus non flu jab nonsense - what a load of baloney!!

And Issy. You poor mother Fxxker!! 45 minutes? Is that even possible? I hope you aren't reading this, because you are tucked up in bed.

I Need a lot of sleep. I don't know if it's a diabetic thing or just my personality, but my mum says I've always been the same. I literally cNt cope without enough sleep.

Which leads me onto Elk.
Can you see, I working down the list, in severity.
And her lack of sleep. And her normally lovely husband, who had sunk to twatbadgery levels not normally seen.

Can I be totally evil? And say that the ONLY good thing about a wench being sad, is that it brings out the VERY very best in links, photos and gifs - aka Apricot!!

Seriously, we hope you are ok Elk. And that we (photos and gifs) have cheered you up!!

I'm drinking hot chocolate that I stole from the hospitality tray at the hotel in Oxford. I'm such a badass Grin

And I totally understand why Brits complain when it's no kettle at the hotel room, it's really nice.

Flopsy28 · 13/10/2015 19:56

Grin at badass wicked! You drink that hot chocolate gurlfriend.
apes, always fabulous with the links
Let me think helen, adjective, cooling, action all-over-body-rub. There you go porthos
Hey badders How you doin'?

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 13/10/2015 19:59

I also took some teabags and coffe Shock

MadamedeChevreuse · 13/10/2015 20:04

I am just leaving work now.

Alibabsandthe40Musketeers · 13/10/2015 20:14

Oh Madame

Flops were you brave or did you squeak?

Issy - have a matchstick or two!

I am on day two of hideous sore throat/wheezy/no voice. Have remained mostly in bed and DH has done school runs. Am feeling a bit better this evening so hopefully it's on the way out.

Mouse DS2 is starting to struggle with 1.5 weeks to go to half term, i'm sure TM is the same. As the others have said, he knows he can just let go with you and you'll still love him.

WW GrinGrin at your theft. I could murder a hot chocolate.

to everyone else ILYA

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 13/10/2015 20:18

Wine for Madame

Brew with lots of honey for Ali. I feel your pain, had a horribly sore throat when I was in Oxford. I hope you feel better soon!

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 13/10/2015 21:33

Night wenches.

FancyFancy · 13/10/2015 21:57

Have been out most of the day, so catching up in chronological order:

No voles today thankfully apricot, they are impossibly cute though

I hope he's apologised elk, not acceptable to speak to you like that. I hope you've had a better evening & don't worry, we've all had screaming banshee mornings. Parents are only human & I don't think it does DC any harm to realise there are limits to our patience
