Obs2015 · 03/10/2015 11:44

Wenches know how to parteeeee. The 2015 Oktoberfest is in Munich. Now, who do we know who lives in Munich eh? Shall we transport ourselves over, virtually, using the Tardis? Or shall we just wench and party and have our own Musketeer tribute UK based Oktoberfest of our own?

Erm that'll be a no to you having Matt Damon Madame. He is MINE. Especially in the Bourne films. Nice one re the dream though.

Cinn according to my luffly Covent Garden Soup Co book* you use the carcass to make the stock, then use the stock as the base of the soup. If there is leftover meat leave that to add to the soup but you'll need veg in it too. Carrots, onion and I usually add a potato to thicken it.

*bought by DH hopefully one year before he realised I was never going to be a domestic goddess. I mean why make posh Covent Garden soup when you can buy it from Sainsburys? I do sometimes make soup but more in a chuck it in the pan and let's see what happens kind of way. What happens is varied.

MadamedeChevreuse · 11/10/2015 10:12

Dont worry mrsb I dont luff him like that! Just thought he sounded like a really nice bloke. jason bourne is nothing to aaron cross

Lalalalala...

MiladyBeaWinter · 11/10/2015 10:13

Ooo just read the article. "he has arms that look like they've been drawn by a Popeye animator" Grin

He is behind water.org as well. And is the perfect age for me. So, I'll be back later - am just off to America to kidnap him and keep him locked in the dungeon.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 11/10/2015 10:19

Cinn, what MrsB and Madame said re. soup.

If you have lots of chickeny water now, I'd boil it down a bit to concentrate the flavour and then boil up from spuds in it, plus any other veg you like. Mash the spuds up to give it a bit more body (if you like) then either blitz it in a blender or mash it about with a masher.... maybe add fried onion.garlic to add a bit more flavour if you like them. Just add stuff and see what it tasets like Grin

I've been stewing apple this morning - then DH came down "It needs more water" "It needs breaking up" "it needs..." FFS Angry I was stewing apples before he had met an apple tree (possibly a slight exaggeration) But ARGH!!!!!!!!!!! I have stropped off to MN and let him take over. If he tells me I'm cooking pancakes wrong next, then I'll lamp him with the frying pan, cartoon style. Angry

Sodding AO3 We're all ruined, I tell you - ruined.
Excellent Grin
Maybe I could slap him, Connie style, when he's got a mouthful of apple. We don't have any peaches at the mo.

Laters...
(I love having these little rants/stream-of-conciousness - they cheer me right up again)

Morning

When I make chicken stock cinn I strip the carcass as much as possible & boil it up with veg & herbs for a couple of hours. Then I use the stock as the base for the soup. I love lentils in a soup if I'm in the mood for a thick soup, I boil them until they are complete mush! I'd put them in with veg & the chicken from the carcass if you fancy a chunky soup, or siphon off some of the stock & cook them separately from the veg if you prefer a smoother soup. DS once did a lovely spicy lentil soup at school that used some curry paste for flavour, I've also used harissa paste to add some oomph to soups.

I also never throw out the rind from a wedge of parmesan - I keep them all for soup making. Put them in the stock with all the other ingredients when cooking - just remember to fish them out before you serve up Grin

Realised I forgot to let you all know that Alijaz is obviously no1. My faves were Anita and Gleb. I think she will go far.

All of this is academic, well, because it's Sunday and that means that in the words of Aramis,

"all I had to do was breathe on her to make her gush like a mountain stream.”

^that is me tonight.

FancyFancy · 11/10/2015 10:51

And being ep 2 tonight, that's the one where he turns up late to the garrison because he's been shagging Marguerite & is all 'what's going on?' and Trev is epically pissed off with him. Love that scene. Apologies I seem to have morphed into a teen.

MadamedeChevreuse · 11/10/2015 11:22

Ah bugger not sure I will make rewatch cos of being at my mums, may be late back. Can we say 9.30 again so Im in with a chance?

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 11/10/2015 11:31

Oit! Madame! Haven't RTF article & I also hope Santi hasn't even seen the title. PFFT!

MadamedeChevreuse · 11/10/2015 11:41

Well he would say that, he's an actor with hopes of having a private life. Doesnt mean theres gazillions of fans mrsb who know what he had for breakfast this morning. Grin

MadamedeChevreuse · 11/10/2015 11:43
Cinnamoncookie · 11/10/2015 11:47

Helen, i think your DH needs to read this

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 11/10/2015 12:52

Oh, I know what Santi had for breakfast this morning Grin

AnneEtAramis · 11/10/2015 13:22

Was it in liquid form and gushing Sparks?

MadamedeChevreuse · 11/10/2015 14:07

BAHAHAHAHA.

MadamedeChevreuse · 11/10/2015 14:08

Something nice and healthy I imagine. Fruit. Like pomegranete. Or peach.

FancyFancy · 11/10/2015 14:33
Grin How long did the orgasm last for? If it was 30 minutes I'd be a bit worried!
SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 11/10/2015 14:53

Let's just say it was breakfast in bed & leave it at that.

ElkforLeather · 11/10/2015 14:54

Strewth!! Wicked post a warning first!

I've just caught up with Strictly, and holy shit Jay is hot went he's moving not so much when he's standing still, he's more like a terrified faun when he's standing still bless him Then I came on here and there's Wicked's picture, now I just need a peachy education and my hangover will probably be cured....

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 11/10/2015 15:14

You're welcome Elk Grin I may have had a fantasy about Athos striding through the door and then rip my clothes off Wink

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 11/10/2015 16:58

Afternoon )

How's the soup Cinn? DH apologised re. taking over the apples, and I had great fun reading the 'spoon up the backside'post to him.

Productive day so far, weeding, mowing, washing, apple-stewing and picking. Now watching rugby (and stewing more apples - goes to stir them Wink )

We on for 9:30 still?

MadamedeChevreuse · 11/10/2015 17:00

helen, hang on a minute, I think you're stirring them wrong. And dont they need more water?

AnneEtAramis · 11/10/2015 17:44

Theoretically here at 9.30 but DH has a habit of coming home at exactly that moment. Given he didn't remember last weeks episode I could still swing it. Don't wait for me though wenches.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 11/10/2015 17:49
Grin
SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 11/10/2015 19:31
