Reunion was ok. Had a giggle with women, most of whose faces and names I couldn't remember, about our teenage years. When we sat down at the table there were cups and saucers but NO WINE GLASSES! Did they think we were in our dotage? I soon put that right. I did mention a certain holiday visiting locations for a TV programme I liked, but no-one asked what it was. It's probably a good job, I would have still been there now talking about it to an empty room.

Had to spend 30 mins after it finished showing the DC the actual versions of Marilyn Monroe, Some Like it Hot etc. DS very dissapointed to find that there wasn't a Charleston in Star Wars. I was surprised when it opened mrsB, especially as it's not a particularly posh one, but we go regularly now, it's really good value. It's always packed as well. In fact the worst bit about it is that when you walk near it in town late afternoon/early evening you catch the smell of barbecued meat & it makes you really hungry

Your culinary advice is needed, please. I had a roast chicken, have now boiled the carcase and retained the water, and stripped off all the little bits of meat. Last time I tried to make soup from those two things, I got slightly-flavoured-water-with-little-bits-of-chicken-in. How do I make it into delicious soup?

I think you have to boil just the bones cinn, for like fucking ages, to make a proper stock? Use a knorr stock pot its quicker. Or google homemade chicken stock if you have time to cook it.
