I want to get one for my mum for xmas

It doesn't have to be terribly fast or have a massive hard drive as she only uses it for web access and other bits and pieces. Must have wireless card. I would like something reliable and with warranty

Any recommendations for laptops or places to get them?

TIA

I'm afraid I am having trouble with the cheap and good part. The ones that are cheap won't last very long I am sorry to say. Its one ofthe diffrences between a laptop and a desktop. Laptops crap out faster.

have a look on dell's website. They often have bargains.

Dp works as a techician at a large pc store and he says the cheapest laptops are often returned but anything over £500 should be ok, somewhere on the highstreet is probably best to get a cheaper one.

How much do you want to spend ?
What do you want it for ?
DO you need the other bits - like a printer / laptop bag ..

I have just got a fast one on ebay for DS .... and a fraction of the price ( and it works )
