All about BBC1's The Musketeers. Come in & have a look at our beautiful Wordle. Because there's nothing to unite wenches in complete harmony like a computer telling us how often we've posted. Or what word we should be next to. Or if our Musketeer is fairly represented. And of course from thereonin we'd never do anything to skew any future Wordle analysis. Noooooooo.

that gif is always worth posting again morelike, it's one of my favourites - I think it's the heavy breathing Grin

FancyFancy · 01/10/2015 21:47

My DC have some Italian ancestry - as you can tell if you've seen photos of them Hmm Grin.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 01/10/2015 21:51

So... where were we? I like Italian food. Sometimes DH and DS make pasta together and it's so much ncier than the dry stuff.

Shall I play with wordles again? Or shall I go to bed?

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 01/10/2015 21:56

Here we go - this is the wordle of Musketeer/Inn-related words (excluding names)

Erm wordle helen?

LetUsPrey · 01/10/2015 21:59

Well done Anne's DS1!

Thanks for the Wine Fancy

DH's family (half anyway) came from Italy at the beginning of the 20th century. I have discovered quite accidentally by stalking-ish that one of DH's ancestors and one of Paella's ancestors both came from the same little village in Italy at around the same time. So much in common Grin

I think we need more Aramis. That's Aramis of the Musketeers.

FancyFancy · 01/10/2015 23:48

Obs2015 · 02/10/2015 07:49

Oh thank you fancy. Kingy has made me feel all lovely. And I was already feeling lovely.
We yes we ( I did most of the building) finished ds1's church last night. I (based on sparks talents of musketeer Lego buiding) build a Lego priest to go with it. Looks good!!
Dh is working from home because he is quite sick. I plan on doing as little as possible today.

Love all the au pair talk - especially the bit where ww drinks wine with morelike whilst her dh looks after the kids!! Ha ha.

What 2 languages are you hoping ds will be able to do Anne?
They only offer French or Spanish for ds1 atm. He has been put in the French side of the school. But he is continuing with Latin, as an extra, which he did at primary, which I think is quite cool.

AnneEtAramis · 02/10/2015 08:02

Obs, at the other schools you get given French or Spanish on entry and that's it. No opportunity to try the other at all. They all appear to offer clubs that teach other languages and if I up my commitment he could also get an extra GCSE in my other language, DHs other language not likely to happen. But this particular school you start with French which you continue with to year 9 and then add Spanish or German in year 8. They have a reasonable cohort who take two to GCSE plus Mandarin and Latin club. He does French at primary woeful and has taken part voluntarily in a Spsnish and Mandarin club. I just think he should have the chance to try as many as possible. He said their history dept was best which is important to him.

FancyFancy · 02/10/2015 08:05

You're welcome obs. Love the sound of your lego church! Hope your DH is feeling better soon.

LetUsPrey · 02/10/2015 08:30

Morning wenches. It's Friiiiiiiiiidaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy!

Hope DH is feeling better soon Obs.

Sounds a great school Anne

Yep, genealogy that's what it was Fancy

Have to go to work now but Patagonia tonight!

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 02/10/2015 09:16

Yay for Friday!!!!!!!!! Grin
Boooo for work Sad

Genealogy... if we stalk research far enough back and then go forwards down a different branch then my mother says we're related to the Cumberbatch

AnneEtAramis · 02/10/2015 09:25

We have no claim to fame but my undergrad dissertation was centred on a family member and I Crjme that I discovered.

My dad claims that his great someone was head chef in the last Sultan's kitchen, but I have yet to investigate this claim.

Morning all. Nothing to report except a trip to the Disney store in advance of DD2 trip to the hairdressers tomorrow. I fear I may have sabotaged things by doing things the wrong way round, never mind.

I love family history, any other tales from the past? I have one but it's much too identifying to put on here!! My mum's side of the family is from Helenspartoftheworld and my dads are from East Germany.

Not sure I can watch the spidery thing tonight.......

Lyndie · 02/10/2015 11:54

Oh I love the Wordle!!!!

ApricotCrush · 02/10/2015 12:10

Hello! Lovely day here, just been a walk on the beach, so peaceful.

Family history is fascinating. One of my cousins did a huge family tree going back about five generations, it was about 12 feet long. Although my maiden name is very Scottish, apparently my father's family originally came from Ireland.

Elkie is going to love that wordle! Grin
