All about BBC1's The Musketeers. Come in & have a look at our beautiful Wordle. Because there's nothing to unite wenches in complete harmony like a computer telling us how often we've posted. Or what word we should be next to. Or if our Musketeer is fairly represented. And of course from thereonin we'd never do anything to skew any future Wordle analysis. Noooooooo.

FancyFancy · 24/09/2015 14:47

Thanks helen. Am back home now. It was lovely & quiet in the morning, and full of fuckwits in the afternoon. After geordie woman finally shut up I had to endure Mr Twatty telling Olga not to 'talk across him' Angry

Looks like I missed out on a whole lot of Emma too! Marriage market I get, prostitution possibly? But VD?!

MadamedeChevreuse · 24/09/2015 18:02

Maybe Mrs Goddards school was not what it seemed?

Maybe Mrs Bates brought some much needed extra money in by blowing Mr Woodhouse when she came round to "play cribbage"?

MadamedeChevreuse · 24/09/2015 18:05

Or maybe academics just write papers about ANYTHING they feel like. Confused Hmm

FancyFancy · 24/09/2015 18:16

Grin madame

helen you must read it know. And then report back o the rest of us. I like the look of that other book you linked to anne

LetUsPrey · 24/09/2015 18:28

Evening wenches. The reading material sounds interesting Grin

Speaking of reading, I must head over to The Snug later tonight.

Hope Wicked and any other ailing wenches are recovering.

I am off out tonight to the cinema on my own (bliss) to watch an NT Live Encore showing of Coriolanus.

Let me just see if I can find some Aramis. Oh look, I did find a picture of Aramis. That's Aramis, just to be clear.

Swagger Inn Thread 111. Yes, that's 110, 000 posts & *still* trending.
AnneEtAramis · 24/09/2015 19:01

Well if you can possibly get prostitution then I guess VD follows.

Fancy, happy to lend you the other one.

Both of you PM your addresses.

MadamedeChevreuse · 24/09/2015 19:09

Have an ace time letus, that sounds lovely. And thanks for al the pix of aramis. Aramis. Aramis. Mmm. Aramis.

MadamedeChevreuse · 24/09/2015 19:10

fancy I just clocked you used the term "arsehat." I like that.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 24/09/2015 20:02

Good evening. Here is a picture of Santi pre-Aramis. That's before he'd auditioned to be Aramis, before he's been chosen as Aramis, before he'd grown in his Aramis beard, before he'd made the character of Aramis his own. Did I mention he plays Aramis?

Can't be arsed with trying to shoe-horn it in all cleverly.

Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos Athos if FAF FAF FAF FAF FAF and he's played by Tom Burke. Otherwise known as Tom. T-O-M Tom. Who plays Athos. Who is FAF. The others are garnish.

I've done a new wordle by the way this may account for my disturbing work backlog Hmm Confused Need to get DS into bed just now though.

Anne you are lovely but don't go wasting postage on me while I have a backlog like the current one (books to read and work to do). We can revisit it next time we plan a meet-up. The other book you linked to did look quite interesting too. I should also probably re-acquaint myself with Jane Austen's books in general so I have a clue what she's talking about for half the time.

Badders123 · 24/09/2015 20:24

Sigh.
So.
Ds2 has a high temp again
Wwyd?
I could try and get him an appt tomorrow afternoon?

AnneEtAramis · 24/09/2015 20:36

Here is Aramis, I mean Santi as policeman Santi, before Aramis or maybe after Aramis.

Poor DS2 Badderz. Try for the appt and see what sort of night he has.

Excellent pics both as Santi and as Aramis, because Santi is the actor who plays Aramis.

BTW Hiddleston is on The List. Epically talented and gorgeous.

Badders123 · 24/09/2015 20:55

I'm getting to the stage where I just don't trust my instincts anymore Sad
He is just always ill!
How is the show?

LetUsPrey · 24/09/2015 20:58

Poor www sausage Sad

It's excellent. The whole cast are fab. Oops less than a minute. Better go!

Obs2015 · 24/09/2015 21:01

Liking the santi pictures. He looks so incredibly young. I fear the aramis look is actually quite ageing.

Off to bed. I have 2 library books to read. Sarah waters and Robert Harris - both recommended by librarian.

FancyFancy · 24/09/2015 21:38

Evening, what wonderful Aramis/Santi pics, because whether it's a pic of Santi, or of Santi playing Aramis, or of Santi playing anyone he is FAF.

helen you're just saying that about a new wordle to shut us all up aren't you? Grin

obs, he looks older as Aramis true, but in a good way - a better match for my age!

anne, thank you re: the book, but Christmas meetup would be fine - I'm in the middle of a Colette marathon at the moment. The prostitution reference was more to do with whether you could consider a some of the mercenary marriages at that time as a form of prostitution. Only with more bucks for your bang. As it were.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 24/09/2015 21:50

Badders Sad

Wasn't Hiddlestone in the BBC trailer for upcoming stuff?

AnneEtAramis · 24/09/2015 21:59

The blokes were more than likely frequenting prostitutes though particularly the likes of Captain Wentworth < sob> not to mention the likes of Willoughby etc.

HaydeeofMonteCristo · 24/09/2015 22:02

letus that is quite some Aramis you have posted there. All Aramis is welcome, but that pic (of Aramis) is particularly hawt.

Agree with obs and fancy that Santi looks older as Aramis, i.e. with a beard, like Aramis has.

I will not be thinking of Emma in the same way again, thanks, Madame. Grin

HaydeeofMonteCristo · 24/09/2015 22:08

Helen that is indeed good advice about Legoland. We got stuck for hours trying to get out, during which time DD decided to puke all over friend's car (motified).

Was two years ago, but still.
