Help me choose a car !!! (Fun)

DH has just got a new job which is more money and a huge challenge. But we will now need two cars as he is going to be driving to work.

We have a good car which will be his. I need to choose a runaround for me and the two boys. It doesn't need to be huge, as we have an estate for trips away.

I want a smallish hatchback, with plenty of poke, automatic. Something with a bit of style and reliable.

Inspire me, looking through car mags and feeling a bit overawed. I have never bought a car before.

I love my nissan micra - and ignore everyone who calls it a granny car or a Noddy car.

Never broken down, well balanced engine that feels a lot more powerful than it is... but mainly its the love. The car just loves its owner. Fab cubby holes keep everything at hand. great gadgets:

*keyless ignition and locking means you don't need to get your keys out of your bag to drive. My 2 y.o. runs ahead and unlocks the car for me. Very useful for when hands full.

*rainsensing wipers

*you can ask it to keep the headlights on for five minutes after you turn it off so you don't have to unlock your front door in the dark. Isn't that sweet?

*isofix - because it loves your kids too

*the bobble eyes help with road positioning

I can go on! It's a lovely car - part of the family.

Mazda Bongo. Wonderful, trouble free, amazingly small, 8 seats and the 4 of you can sleep in it. We LOVE our Bongo!

Heres something completely impractical, Mercedes SLK. I have one and its amazing though, only 2 seats I'm afraid but loads of fun and extremely fast!! Surprising cheap as I have it on a lease scheme.

I drive automatics and the Honda Jazz is far above the best(imagine the Civic would be the same). Only thing I am not keen on is the colours it comes in.
