Mixtapes!

I used to love making mixtapes but haven't done one for years! So I've decided I'm going to make one for my husband for his Christmas.

I'm loving trawling through new music and rediscovering old classics in a bid to make the ULTIMATE mixtape!

I have so many different possible themes I just can't decide! I love telling a story and can spend ages getting the order just right!

So what is your ultimate mixtape song/theme? Do you still have a mixtape from when you were young?

Ooh sounds right up my street! I used to make loads of mixtapes, themed for different moods. I guess it's just like people have playlists now on iPods. I made my sister a set of tapes when she went to uni in mid 80s.
Nowadays my dh and I make one every year for our summer holiday. They are called, imaginatively, Holiday Tape 1 (or 2 or 3 or 4...) We play them in the car (we still have a cassette player on our car stereo so actual mix TAPES, not CDs!) and what I love is that when we play them at other times we are instantly transported back to a happy summer holiday
